Age Limit :
The age limit for candidates applying for RRB Group D is set between 18 to 33 years. However, there are age relaxations provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – candidates are given a relaxation of 3 years, making their upper age limit 36 years.
- SC/ST – candidates are given a relaxation of 5 years, raising their upper age limit to 38 years
Educational Qualification :
To apply for RRB Group D positions, candidates must have either:
- Passed the 10th standard (SSLC/Matriculation) from a recognized board, or
- Obtained an ITI certificate approved by NCVT/SCVT, or Possess an equivalent certification.
Application Fee :
- General/OBC Candidates: The application fee for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories is ₹500. An amount of ₹400 from this fee is refundable after the candidate appears in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- For SC, ST, EWS, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and PwBD Candidates – the application fee is reduced to Rs. 250. This fee is also refundable, with the entire amount of Rs. 250 being refunded after the candidate appears in the CBT.
