Eligibility with Code Details

 Primary Level

  • Code 01: Candidates must have completed 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Code 02: Candidates must have completed 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and be either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
  • Code 03: Candidates must have completed 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be either passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Code 04: Candidates must have completed Intermediate 10+2 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Code 05: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and be either passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Code 06: Shiksha Mitra candidates must have a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from IGNOU.

Junior Level

  • Code 01: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Code 02: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri – Regular).
  • Code 03: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri – Regular), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
  • Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Code 05: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Code 06: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Code 07: At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and either completed or currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Note: Minimum percentage of marks in Graduation does not apply to those who had already taken admission to a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before July 29, 2011.
